Iwan's Deli set to reopen 7 weeks after outbreak

After seven weeks without selling a single sandwich, employees atIwan's Deli and Catering in Orland Park are gearing up for a1,000-person church picnic and other orders.

Employees spent part of Monday ordering food and supplies afterhealth authorities gave the business permission to reopen after anoutbreak of food poisoning, owner Mitchell Iwan said.

"It feels great," Iwan said. "Some people have been callingevery week saying, `My party is this time or that time. Do you thinkyou will be open?' All along, this is what has kept me going."
