FED:Sky should feel aggrieved on AusNet

Sky News says it expects to be fully compensated for its failed bid for the Australia Network.

The commercial news channel says it wants to be reimbursed for the costs of the scrapped
tender process.

On Monday, the federal government awarded the Australia Network contract permanently to the ABC.

Both Communications Minister STEPHEN CONROY and opposition communication spokesman
MALCOLM TURNBULL say Sky has a fair case to apply for compensation.
